Another record for Virat Kohli
Virat Kohli, the captain of the records, has received another rare feat in Test career. He became the first batsman to score more runs on overseas soil during a year. Former Indian cricketer Rahul Dravid has been named in the previous record. In 2002, Dravid made 1137 on foreign soil. After 16 years, Kohli made 1138 in the Test series against Australia. Before the Dravid, Mohinder Amarnath scored 1065 in 1983. Sunil Gavaskar scored 918 in 1971.Kohli personally received another mile in the Test. He scored 1573 runs in the Aussies, 1570 against England and 1005 against Sri Lanka. Kohli is the third Test captain in the third Test against Australia at Melbourne. Kohli was out on a personal score of 82 runs from the first day of the match.
