Asked by the activist that the BJP would tie up with AIADMK, DMK or Rajinikanth in Tamil Nadu, he said, “Vajpayee successfully led the coalition government in the 1990s.
Even now the BJP gates are always open for allies. ‘ “Atalji has given priority to regional parties and aspirations. The BJP is going on the way he is shown. The Congress has done the opposite of what Vajpayee did. The party felt that they had the right to remain in power, “he said. In the 2014 general election, the BJP compete with five smaller parties in Tamil Nadu. Competing in 39 seats, the alliance won two seats (BJP, PMK).
