The revenue authorities reissued the first warning, with in 24hours of its withdrawal. The flood touched second warning level at Doleshwaram in Andhra Pradesh.
Hyderabad: Godavari river is once again on the rise due to heavy rains in the catchment. The flood level in the river touched the 44.4 feet (1.4 ft above the first warning level of 43 feet). The revenue authorities reissued the first warning, with in 24hours of its withdrawal. The flood touched second warning level at Doleshwaram in Andhra Pradesh.

The flood level which crossed 47 ft two days ago, dropped to 42 feet on Sunday morning. Sabari, a downstream tributary of Godavari is in spate. Some 27 tribal villages in Chintur and Kunavaram mandals of the erstwhile Khammam district were marooned. These villages are part of the seven revenue mandals of Telangana merged with AP in 2014.
