MUMBAI: Index of local stocks ended with gains This led to a fourth successive gain. The BSE benchmark Sensex gained 91.71 points, or 23 points, to close at 10,400.
In the morning the stockmarkets were beginning to excitement. The Sensex gained over 100 points, surpassing the 38-point mark, reaching 10,400 points. But in the afternoon, the early profits moved up to yesterday’s statistics. Chinese President Jin Ping has also said that institutional investors bought shares worth Rs 359.35 crore yesterday and worry about the trade war with the US, adding that further measures will be taken to boost the economy and further reduce import duty on various goods. The Sensex finally ended with a gain of 91.71 points at 33,880.25, a gain of 23 points at Nifty at 10,402 points.
Shares of Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, Tata Motors, Idea Cellular and M & M closed with losses in the trading on Tuesday, with Axis Bank, Hindalco, ICICI Bank, Tata Steel and Adani Ports.
