Free Education For Karnataka Girls Up To Post-Graduation

BENGALURU: In an offer to empower young lady youngster instruction, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Friday reported that all young ladies considering in government establishments up to post-graduation will be sans given training.

“Rs. 95 crore of the financial backing would be spent on giving free instruction to all the young lady understudies taking confirmation in government pre-college (eleventh and twelfth), degree and post-graduation courses,” Mr Siddaramaiah, who likewise holds the fund portfolio, said while showing the Budget for 2018-19.

In 2017, the state government had reported free instruction for young ladies from class 1 till graduation in government schools and government helped tuition based schools from 2018-19 scholarly year.

“An aggregate of Rs. 4,514 crore is being accommodated advanced education in 2018-19,” Mr Siddaramaiah stated, showing his thirteenth state spending plan.

Amid 2018-19, 100 ‘Karnataka Public Schools’ will be opened over the state at a use of Rs. 5 lakh for each school, and an aggregate consumption of Rs. 5 crore, he said.

The Chief Minister has reserved Rs. 22,350 crore in the 2018-19 Budget for essential and auxiliary instruction.
