Sonia feast for opposition parties
UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi gave a dinner party to the opposition party on Tuesday night. Of these, 20 leaders from opposition parties participated. In the coming Lok Sabha elections, the possibility of forming a joint coalition to defeat BJP was discussed.
The feast of the feast is being evolved to try to bring the opposition together to defeat the BJP-led NDA. According to the sources, NCP, RJD, Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Trinamool Congress, DMK and Left parties participated in the meeting. Leader of the party, Sharad Pawar (NCP), Ramgopal Yadav (SP), Satish Chandra Mishra (BSP), former Chief Ministers Omar Abdullah, Babulal Marandi, Hemant Soren, Jitin Ram Manjhi, JDU leader Sharad Yadav and RLD’s Ajit Singh attended the dinner. The party president Lalu Prasad’s son Tejaswi Yadav and daughter Measa Bharati participated in the RJD. Trinamool Congress Sudip Bandopadhyay, CPM leaders D Raja, Mohammed Salim, DMK leader Kanimozhi and JDS leader Kupendra Reddy participated in the event. Rahul Gandhi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and other leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad, Mallikarjun Kharge, Ahmed Patel and Antony were also present on the occasion.
